A new and hopefully reformed Blizzard is now riding a wave of goodwill. The 2022 event had been canceled after the allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment had come to light earlier that year. The event was canceled in 20 in the wake of the pandemic, the 2021 event was held virtually. This marks the first time in 4 years that Blizzard would hold an in-person event for its fans. In the official announcement earlier today, Blizzard Entertainment announced that BlizzCon 2023 would take place on November 3rd and November 4th, 2023 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim California.
